I Really like the way this image turned out. It really reflects the way I've been feeling. I guess some of my best works concern the mood I was in while composing them.

Firstly, one of my work colleges killed herself on the weekend. I knew she was depressed, but I never though something like that would occur.

She was the curator in my office - gathered the strange but cool artworks and animations to collaborate with other urban screens around the world.

However, most of the time she collected stuff a little too strange and abstract. You know, the kind of abstract stuff that some art buff could ohh and ahh over, whilst the rest of us look at it and go "What the? My three year old could do better than that..." Ha. But she was passionate about it, at that was all that mattered

She was, for lack of a better word, Sacked last Wednesday. Must have tipped her over the edge. I feel sorry for the boss though - the thought complexes he must be going through. Ouch.

The ironic thing is that no one knew she had a history of depression and attempted. She was just the sometimes cheery curator. And as I said, I could sense she was depressed. I've never known someone personally who have killed themselves.

It is a real eye opener - and I hope in the future I don't just brush them of as having a bad month or suchlike and take a more personal interest in them. Hmmm...

Hence things are a little bumpy at work. Sister company we work beside has gone broke, and following the above travesty, The lead Editor has quit and coordinator has gone on an extended holiday.

So.... who knows whats going down next.

I'm debating wether to kick start my business, Openfire Creative Studios. I've concluded that there is no reason not too... which is a pretty damn convincing argument in this case.
